What a week for our Prince Edward Island Legion track and field team!
During the 2025 Legion National Youth Track and Field Championship, our team set a combined total of two provincial records, four U18 provincial records, and nine personal bests!
Leading the way was Men’s team MVP Charlie Steele, who ran to a new provincial record in the 110m hurdles and ran two strong legs on the men’s U18 4x100m and 4x400m teams. Both men’s relay teams ran to new U18 provincial records!
On the women’s side, team MVP Francis Manning set a new provincial record in the 100m hurdles and jumped to an all-conditions personal best in long jump!
The top placements at the 2025 Legion Nationals included three top-10 finishes by Aidan Campbell (U16 Men’s High Jump), Marc Chapman (U18 Men’s Javelin), Charlie Steele (U18 Long Jump) and Hannah Kwok (U16 Women’s Pole Vault).
